Who are we?
Sol Sisters UK are not MC or mcc but a sisterhood of bikers. We have been set up through the correct
channels and wear a small patch. We're a diverse bunch into a variety of motorcycling activities and ride a selection
of machines from 125cc to1200cc, one of has a trike. Some of us are happy being pillions, others are aspiring to take their
full motorcycle test. We attend functions all over the country, although Yorkshire is the most active area at the moment.
We're not 'anti-men' and partners are welcome to all do’s.
What
do we get up to?
We’re
meeting up every month now, at Seaways Cafe until April and then at the Three Tuns Inn through the summer. We get to a number
of rallies, shows, race meetings, track days, classic meets, motorcycle museums, anything motorcycle related really. We hold
private parties, BBQs, DVD nights, etc. And there’s nearly always someone up for a ride out.
How do you join?
Before joining you will need (probably want) to meet some of us! See when our next meeting is on the
events page where you’re welcome to come and introduce yourself to us. Alternatively email us for an application form
or fill in the form on the contacts page and we’ll arrange to meet you another time and place.
What does it cost?
It costs you nothing to fill out an application form and become a potential new member. As a full member
it costs £23 for the 1st year which includes your patch, its £15 p.a. thereafter.
What are the benefits?
As a full member you will receive a date bar for every year that you are a member and receive our quarterly
E-zine. You will be able to join our certificated mileage scheme, have access to all Club merchandise, discounted motorcycle
consumables and insurance. Full members receive invites to private parties, etc and you’ll be part of a growing network
of likeminded individuals across the country. Full members can make use of the website and E-zine for advertising, etc.
What's expected of you?
You will be expected to have fun! Full members
should promote a positive image of female motorcyclists. You can put as little or as much time into the Club as you can spare/are
willing/or can afford to give.
How
do I join again?
1. Contact us – either by email, the form on the Contact Us page or introduce yourself if you see
us out somewhere.
2. Fill out an application form.
3. You’ll then need to meet more of us before
