Russ!

Any Triumph.
Comments:
Patching Tracey was a highlight in my Sol Sisters year for 2009 and I am also delighted to have accepted the REP England position.

Favourite biking activity: I love rallies & shows, chilling out and just riding - fast, slow, I don't mind as long as I'm on my bike.
Favourite road: Does it have to be tarmac? Loads, Scotland, Wales, the Yorkshire Moors, everywhere except motorways!
Favourite piece of kit: Was my passion killing padded waterproofs but has now been superceeded by my Shark helmet that recently saved my life (and was replaced with another the same make and model).
Dream bike: I love the No Nonsense Choppers
Comments: Sol Sisters are so much fun. I love to see someone's confidence grow or their riding improve. The look on their face when they get their patch or a certificate of achevement. I love the laughs, camaraderie and the diverse personalities within the group - long may it continue!

Fav biking activity: anything and everything! I know that sounds like a cop out but it's true - I smile when I'm around bikes - always have... I guess my first introduction to bikes was at a race meet; so if I had to pick one it would be the race track pit lane! - But rallies/a ride out alone or with friends/ or sometimes simply taking the time out to wash and polish my baby is enough!
Favourite road: no single one in particular but the road through Glenshee heading up to Braemar is pretty good fun and has amazing views. Great bike friendly cafe at the end too! (The Hungry Highlander)
Favourite piece of kit: Again - all important - but I guess I'd have to say my Daytona bike boots - worth their weight in gold - and they DO weigh some!
Dream bike: I own her! My beloved SV... the only bike I've ever owned from new and the bike that has been my 'constant' through some pretty troubled times. She's never let me down and never will...
Comments:  The past few years have been a kind of wilderness for me - a relatively minor accident really shot my nerve and has made it a battle to find that 'happy' place on the bike again... I know it's out there waiting for me - so this year it's my goal to get out there and spend time smiling behind my visor again... It's been too long...
