to as many rallies as time, money and family commitments will allow and I’m looking forward to starting touring in the
UK.
Favourite

Dream bike: Any Triumph.
Comments: Patching Tracey was a highlight
in my Sol Sisters year for 2009.

Favourite
biking activity: I love rallies & shows, chilling out and just riding - fast, slow, I don't mind as
long as I'm on my bike.
Favourite road: Does it have to be tarmac? Loads, Scotland, Wales,
the Yorkshire Moors, everywhere except motorways!
Favourite piece of kit: Was my passion killing padded
waterproofs but has now been superceeded by my Shark helmet that recently saved my life (and was replaced with another the
same make and model).
Dream bike: I love the No Nonsense Choppers
Comments: Sol
Sisters are so much fun. I love to see someone's confidence grow or their riding improve. The look on their face when
they get their patch or a certificate of achevement. I love the laughs, camaraderie and the diverse personalities within the
group - long may it continue!

Favourite biking activity: I love going to rallies and chilling with friends, rides out and about and travelling somewhere new on hols.
My introduction to bikes was over 20 years ago when I met my hubbie Pete and we went all over (me on pillion). Then when our
daughter Lydia came along she took over my back seat and I passed my test!
Favourite
road: I love any road to Whitby which is one of my favourite places. Harrogate to Skipton or Helmsley to Stokesley
also good (and on route to 2 of my favourite rallies!). I also love the road to Sledmere and onwards to Driffield as it means
I’m on my way home after a good ride out. I’m going to be trying to get further afield this year and find a favourite
road out of Yorkshire!
Favourite piece of kit:
Anything warm and waterproof
Dream bike:
Anything I can touch the ground on – being 4ft 10ins! But I think I’ve found the perfect bike for me – a
Suzuki Savage 650 which is just on the road after having an engine rebuild by my hubbie.
Comments: I’m looking forward to doing a lot more riding
this year as my confidence (and hopefully my riding) improves…..
